Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Kristin! I'm so grateful you stopped by to learn how we can work together. With over 20 years of healthcare & financial experience, I founded KM Insurance Planning to provide a more compassionate and comprehensive approach to insurance and financial protection. My career journey began working as a bank teller, then home equity, then a healthcare clinic, where I saw firsthand the importance of having the right support during life’s most challenging moments. After almost 10 years in healthcare, I transitioned into the insurance and financial industry. In 2018, I open my independent agency after one year in the industry. Eventually serving as a Broker Manager for both an insurance company and insurance brokerage, overseeing more than 500 brokers.

This "full circle" career path allows me to bridge the gap between the clinical side of healthcare and the complex strategy behind retirement and insurance planning. As an experienced insurance broker, I don't just look at the numbers; I focus on the human impact of every policy. My goal is to use my decades of expertise to build personalized financial safeguards that give my clients true peace of mind.

When I’m not helping families secure their future, I stay grounded by embracing the outdoors. You’ll usually find me hiking local trails, hanging out with my energetic five-year-old Beaglier, or enjoying paddleboarding on the water with my close friends.
